# `execution_not_cancellable` — Execution not cancellable

**HTTP 409 Conflict**

Message: "Execution is already <status>."

## What causes it
- The execution is not in `pending`, `running`, or `waiting`; it already completed, failed, or was cancelled. `details[0].message` carries the current status.

## How to fix it
1. Treat the execution as final and read its decision with `GET /executions/{id}`.
2. To run the applicant again, use `POST /executions/{id}/re_evaluations` or trigger the cascade with a new idempotency key.
