# `review_not_pending` — Review not pending

**HTTP 409 Conflict**

Message: "Execution is not awaiting human review."

## What causes it
- The execution never paused for review (`needs_human_review` is false), so there is nothing to decide.
- The execution flagged review earlier but has since finished, failed, or been cancelled ("Execution is in status <status> and cannot be resumed.").

## How to fix it
1. Poll or subscribe to `execution.review_required`; only executions whose `review_status` is `pending` accept a decision.
2. Filter the list with `filter[needs_human_review]=true&filter[status]=awaiting_review` to find the ones waiting on you.
